TEARS

Dear all,
I would like to share an interesting info which I read n an magazine. we all have different opinion about "tears". ya very true, but just spend a couple of minutes in reading this my friends..I have tried to reproduce as much as possible.

"Tears at the right time and in the right place have such healing powers as to make them seem almost holy. If something is worth your love, it is worth your tears."

When you can say it, you say it. When you are not able to say it, it comes out as tears.

People say, “I don't know why I cried so much?” In fact, if you know why, you will not cry. It's only when an experience incapacitates the mind, it comes out as tears. If the mind can comprehend the emotion, then it won't come out as tears.

Holding back tears is painful, causing muscle tension and chest discomfort. Controlling tears makes you sick. The muscle tension required to put on a 'brave' face and to control your tears is responsible for much of your high blood pressure and coronary artery diseases. Tears that do not find expression through the eyes will cause some other organ to weep, which are the various diseases. Having a good cry is a cathartic experience, while suppressing tears create stress. It is typical for asthma sufferers to report that they do not often cry. And, after they learn to shed tears the frequency of their asthma attacks reduces.

Don't be afraid to cry. Never be ashamed of your tears. Expressing your tears is vital to mental and physical health. Teaching boys that men do not cry is lying to them about the importance of tears. Women of today, assuming masculine roles in the workplace, have also acquired a masculine style of inhibiting tears. As a result, they are now developing disease patterns similar to that of men's.

Tears confirm you are still capable of deep emotions. Tears reveal you are able to feel deeply. Tears simply mean you are still human. If something is worth your love, it is worth your tears.

To live by it is freedom

Today my friend asked me to take an personality quiz in the face book ,the results which came out was incidentally believable. Also the result of her's was very true.I got my results that I am very flexible, adapatable, spontaneous, outgoing, friendly etc etc...list s endless appreciation of the character. This made me compare my results with many of my friends and I started thinking about the way people lead their life in this world because it was 50-50 kinda results. I think every human being is unique and they have the right to stay that way, different from the world.
I guess all human being gets treated like a mouldable commodity. In a world that is filled with as many desires, as many ways, as many temperaments, as many choices ....as many people, we can never find peace and happiness, if we do not learn to know the differences positively.
The father prefers only salwars and his adolescent daughter prefers jeans and t-shirts.The father succeeds but loses the love of his daughter. The husband spends the lifetime to change the wife, instead of celebrating the differences he is able to see in her.In fact the whole family from husband to sister's in law to mother -in -law gets in to the ritual of converting the new girl in to what they call as "this is our family type".Again every human being has the right to stay in his/her own way.
In life, nothing repeats and what can be repeated has no life in it.It is not without a reason that everything in this creation is unique.Differences are the very spice of life.Celebrate the uniqueness in others and we will begin to cherish our own uniqueness and we will be able to see the difference in the world positively.
See this world of abundance with the positive vision of appreciating the differences. A whole new world will unfold and a new life will be awaiting...

Lost in life

This topic is not about attitude and not about paradigms, but it made me think so much when I happen to see many people who are so lost in life without understanding what it is.Man has trained dolphins to perform antics, elephants to cycle and tigers to jump through rings of fire. Man has established his supremacy over every other life form.
Yet in our daily life, we meet people with Masters in Management who cannot manage their own habits; Chartered Accountants unable to live the life that they envisioned: Doctors doing the things that they know are harmful to their own body; Teachers unable to provide direction to their own children. The list goes on…. Why is it so? Why do people even after achieving phenomenal success still seem so lost in life?
I think We need Self-knowledge, Self-understanding, Self-mastery to overcome this aspect.
Man alone can nurture his own nature. Everything about life is born to a nature, lives within its nature and dies to that nature. Even at the time of cavemen, a beehive was an engineering marvel and so it remains even today. Nothing about the bee or the beehive has changed, but where is today's man compared to that caveman?
I think its high time we have to develop and nurture our quality of thoughts , from chaotic thinking to clarity thinking, We have to be the master of our own emotions.
We need to have a transformation from a life of 'either this or that' to a life of 'this AND that'… a balance… in the life and thereby start living in a more positive way without being lost in life .
Enliven the spiritual, emotional, intellectual , mental and physical personalities of your life.

power of acceptance in life!!!!

Today's chat with my friend made me think about many things in life which we unnecessarily complicate and end up in abnormal fight. One among that hot thing is about satisfaction in life, which is like an ocean , a topic which cannot be debated in a simple way.How important is the power of acceptance in our life?
A person with a happy mind is such that , if you put him in hell, he will convert it in to heaven. The person has a great secret in transforming everything in to joy, like how doctors transform snake poison in to medicine. We all want to be happy and run after this or that.We go on creating problems as the mind is not happy with what is.When we dont watch our mind a negative system is created and when we dwell on the negative, our pattern of anger, our pattern of justifying, our pattern of jealousy etc creates a negative system. This negative system takes over and we lose control of ourself.
To my knowledge I think life is not frustrating, the mind that is filled with expectations is frustrating.Mind is hijacked by expectations. The problem with us is that we want the world, God and nature to follow the time table that we have set.We want the world to run according to our likes and dislikes.More than all these we are prone to comparisons. We develop feelings of inferiority and superiority depending on whom we are looking at.
We have to take one thing for certain.Life is short. Why lose ourselves very early with wrong thinking.
LETS MAKE A CONSCIOUS , DELIBERATE DECISION TO STAY HAPPY UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WITHOUT ANY SPECIFIC REASON.

Toughest job

My daughter who has recently stepped in to the pre teen stage started asking me questions about the recent trial of Kasab(the terrorist caught w.r to the recent terror attack), and it was rather a tough job for me to give her a convincing reply.
Raising a child is probably the most gratifying job any of us will ever have -- and one of the toughest. In large part, that's because times have changed. We live in an increasingly complex world that challenges us everyday with a wide range of disturbing issues that are difficult for children to understand and for adults to explain.
Senseless acts of violence involving children have become all too commonplace in our society: school shootings, child abductions, accidental drownings and kids killing kids. And with modern technology being what it is today, parents cannot realistically protect their youngsters from these broadcasts, especially with the media's endless reporting of these events.
Some adults want to keep their youngster's childhood a period of carefree innocence and avoid discussing these issues. But not talking to children about the violence they hear about--or actually see first-hand--denies them the opportunity to figure out what it means, especially in a society where extreme violence has become the norm.
It is important for parents to talk to their child about what the child has seen or heard in the media. This allows parents the opportunity to lessen the negative effects of the news while providing the youngster with parental ideas and values. While children cannot be completely protected from the reporting of violent news events, parents can help make them feel safer and less vulnerable to many problems in the world around them.
Let your kids know the difference between news and reality.I think it's important that as parents we let our kids know that the news and the world are very complex, and that greater perspective will come with age and continued communication. Anyways lets wait and watch wats n store for the future generation!!!!!!!!!!!

Seeing Yourself.

People often speak about thoughts and stress, everytime you are upset and you are stressed, it is the thought that creates the stress more than the situation. There is a beautiful story which I heard in one of the spiritual gurus talks. The story goes like this..Once Buddha was preaching his monks.A thief who was passing by listened to that sitting under a tree. Like wise a prostitute also passed by and she also started listening to the conversation.Buddha started preaching about about so many things and finally he ended up his speech by saying,"Do your duty before you go to bed".So everyone heard Buddha's advice. The thief got up in deep consolation that Buddha has endorsed his duty. The prostitute went away with the consolation that she can proceed doing her duty and now can catch rich customers. Finally the monks also got up and went their way by telling that their duty was to meditate. The thief interpreted in his own way and so the prostitute. In life we listen to what we want to listen.Very few people listen objectively. We are too lost in what we want to listen and in that space there is misunderstanding.Misunderstanding conflicts with reality. Thus it creates stress. Many of our tensions are result of wrong interpretations.
So lets be an objective listener and not an subjective listener and then we will find lots of tensions coming down.
"Seeing Yourself"-that is going beyond thoughts is the best way to handle stress.

Opportunities

Yesterday I had been for a small get together where I happened to meet people from various walks of life.In the course of talking I came across a young girl who was very attractive and seem to have achieved her goal at an very young age. This made me think about opportunities that comes in our life and when we miss them, the way we think about that later.I think in a society every opportunity comes with three obligations. First, you must seize it. You must mould it into a work that brings value to others. Second, you must live it. Opportunity is nurtured only by action. Third, you must defend the freedom to pursue opportunities. You must embrace these three obligations to be successful.
I think life is like a combination lock;your goal is to find the right numbers, in the right order, so you can have anything you want.
